Grate something new atop your pasta dishes or salads. Hard-ripened Crotonese is an artisanal sheep's milk cheese aged in wicker baskets, giving it distinctive cross-hatch marks on the rind. Softer, less flaky and less salty than other well-known grating cheeses, Crotonese has an earthy, nutty flavour with a slightly fruity finish. It’s delicious on its own or accompanied by some fresh Italian bread.
