1 350g pkg Tre Stelle® Paneer Cheese, cut into ½” cubes Marinade: ½ cup Greek yogurt, plain 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tbsp fresh ginger, finely grated 2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced 1 tsp turmeric powder or 2 tbsp freshly grated turmeric 2 tsp garam masala pinch cayenne pepper (optional) 1 tsp dried cumin Sauce 1 tbsp butter 1 cup tomato purée 1 tbsp sugar 1 tsp sea salt 1 cup cream (light cream or half and half) Garnish fresh cilantro
In a blender or food processor combine all of the marinade ingredients together and process until smooth. Pour onto Paneer cubes and cover and refrigerate until ready to use. Add butter to a large non-stick skillet over medium high heat. Add Paneer and cook for approximately 5 minutes. Add the tomato purée, sugar and salt; simmer gently for 20 minutes. Stir in the cream and remove from heat. Garnish with cilantro and serve.
