Grilled Asparagus with Lemon Tre Stelle® Grana Padano Topping

Makes 4 servings

INGREDIENTS

2 bunches fresh asparagus, washed and trimmed

2 tbsp | 30 mL
olive oil

salt and pepper to taste

Topping
1/3 cup | 75 mL
Tre Stelle® Grana Padano or Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese, grated

3 tbsp | 45 mL
fresh lemon juice

1 tsp | 5 mL
freshly grated lemon zest

1/4 cup | 60 mL
olive oil

1 tbsp | 15 mL
Dijon mustard

1 clove garlic, minced

pinch salt and pepper

additional Tre Stelle® Grana Padano or Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese, grated (optional)

PREPARATION

In a small bowl whisk together all topping ingredients, cover and set-aside until ready to use.

Toss asparagus with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Preheat barbeque or indoor grill. Place asparagus on grill or in grilled pan and cook until tender crisp, turning frequently. Place on a serving platter and drizzle with Lemon Grana Padano Cheese topping and additional Grana Padano or Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese if desired.
