I live in St. Albert, Alberta. The recipes I share are a collection of meals I make for my family from dinner to desserts, family friendly to gourmet. I am always experimenting, so my recipes range from good old homestyle cooking to epicurean delights.
My late Grandmother was the person who inspired me the most. She was a lady of simple means, lived on a farm, grew an enormous garden, baked the most delicious bread and grew the most beautiful flowers.
My favourite sport is track and field, and this is where I’ve spent my weekends for the past 12 years watching my son compete. He is now 22 and away from home at University. He encouraged me to start blogging, I think mostly so he would have an online recipe book to learn to cook from. I have been married for 26 years to a wonderful man, my main taste tester!
In addition to cooking I enjoy photography, decorative painting, crafting and gardening.
