My name is Margherita, I am 100% Italian, having being born and raised in Florence, Italy. Just 4 years short years ago I moved to Montreal, following the man who now is my beloved husband.
The recipes I create and share, of course, are inspired by traditional Italian recipes, but being a curious person, I embrace new cooking trends and ingredients typical of other cultures. My inspiration comes mainly from simple meals, traditional recipes and seasonal ingredients. Simplicity makes every recipe tastier.
Besides cooking I love reading, swimming and raising my baby boy of 15 months. While he has changed my habits and routine a bit I strive to maintain my passions. I have been cooking since I was a child and started my blog www.lapetitecasserole.com 3 years ago, with the encouragement of my husband and my friends, since they are well aware of how much I love cooking and sharing recipes.
Cooking Ingredient: Ricotta
Kitchen Tool: Knife
