Balsamic Glazed Plums
Balsamic Glazed Plums prepared with Tre Stelle® mini mini Bocconcini CheesePrep Time:

1 tub | 200 g Tre Stelle® Bocconcini Cheese, drained and cut into halves* 1 1/2 cups balsamic vinegar 1 tbsp maple syrup 4-6 plums, pitted and quartered 1/2 pint fresh blackberries (optional) 1/2 cup fresh mint, finely chopped 1/4 cup pine nuts, toasted
Add vinegar and maple syrup to a medium saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and allow to simmer until thickened – approximately 30 minutes. Add plums and stir gently to coat and continue to cook for an additional 5 minutes; or just until plums begin to soften slightly. Remove from heat and allow the plums/glaze to cool in saucepan. Arrange Bocconcini Cheese randomly on a platter or 4 salad plates. Using a fork, remove plums from sauce and arrange around Bocconcini Cheese, add blackberries (optional) and drizzle with remaining syrup, sprinkle with fresh mint and pine nuts.
