Hot Diggity Dog with Tre Stelle® Feta

Makes 6 hot dogs
Jalapeño salsa: 4 jalapeño peppers 1 large green pepper 1 small white onion, finely chopped 3/4 cup | 175 mL fresh cilantro, rinsed and finely chopped 1 lime, juiced 1 tsp | 5 mL salt 1/2 tsp | 2 mL smoked paprika (optional) 6 hot dogs 6 hot dog buns, toasted 1 tub | 150 g Tre Stelle® Crumbled Feta Cheese
Heat the broiler, indoor grill or barbecue. Place the whole jalapeños and green pepper on a baking sheet or grill. Broil until darkly roasted, even blackened in spots; using tongs flip and roast on all sides. Set aside to cool. Carefully remove the seeds and stems from the peppers and roughly chop. In a medium bowl, combine peppers, onion, cilantro, lime juice, salt and smoked paprika. Set aside or refrigerate until ready to use. Grill or sauté hot dogs to desired doneness and place in toasted buns. Top with jalapeño salsa and a generous amount of Crumbled Feta cheese. Serve with your favourite condiments if desired.
