Pizza Bianca with Tre Stelle® Bocconcini and Romano

Makes 1 pizza
1 tbsp | 15 mL cornmeal 1 tbsp | 15 mL olive oil 3 cloves garlic, peeled and minced 1 tub | 200 g Tre Stelle® Bocconcini, drained and sliced in thirds or Tre Stelle® Bocconcini Medallions, drained 1 tsp | 5 mL ground black pepper 1/4 cup | 60 mL Tre Stelle® Grated Romano Cheese 1/4 cup | 60 mL fresh mixed herbs like rosemary, oregano and basil
Preheat oven to 400ºF (200ºC). In a small saucepan, combine olive oil and minced garlic. Cook over medium heat just until garlic begins to change colour; remove from heat immediately and set aside to cool. If using pizza dough, sprinkle work surface with cornmeal and roll out dough to an approximate 12” circle and place onto baking sheet or pizza stone. Brush dough with garlic/oil mixture. Bake for 20 minutes, remove from oven and top with Bocconcini Cheese slices and sprinkle with black pepper, grated Romano Cheese and mixed herbs. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden and bubbly. If using a pre-baked ready-made crust, simply brush with garlic/oil mixture. Top with Bocconcini and Romano Cheeses and sprinkle with black pepper and mixed herbs. Bake until cheese is melted.
