Spicy Garlic Shrimp Tre Stelle® Bocconcini Pizza

1 – 12” ready made, pre-baked pizza crust 1 lb | 450 kg fresh shrimp, shells and tail removed 2 tbsp | 30 mL olive oil 1 tbsp | 15 mL butter 2 garlic cloves, peeled and minced 1 jalapeno pepper, seeds removed and finely chopped 1 tub | 200 g Tre Stelle® Bocconcini Pearls Cheese, drained 3 tbsp | 45 mL pesto sauce ¼ cup | 50 mL Tre Stelle® Grated Parmesan Cheese ¾ cup | 175 mL fresh basil, optional
Preheat oven to 450ºF (230ºC). Heat butter and olive oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook for approximately 4 minutes or until shrimp are pink on both sides. Add garlic and jalapeno pepper, cook for an additional 2 minutes. Place shrimp mixture on pizza crust, arrange Bocconcini pearls evenly over top. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan and drizzle with pesto. Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted. Remove from oven and top with fresh basil if desired.
