Tre Stelle® Spring Onion Pesto Pasta
The pesto is equally delicious spread on toasted flatbread or added to scrambled eggs!Prep Time:

1 pkg | 454 g pasta (any of your favourites will do) 1 bunch spring green onions, cleaned and coarsely chopped 1/2 cup | 125 mL pine nuts, toasted (optional) 3 cloves garlic 3/4 cup | 175 mL Tre Stelle® Grana Padano Cheese, grated 1/3 cup | 75 mL olive oil
Bring a large saucepan of salted water to a boil, add pasta and cook until al dente. Meanwhile, place green onions in the bowl of a food processor; add pine nuts, garlic and Grana Padano Cheese. Pulse until thick and combined. While food processor is running, add olive oil in a slow stream until the pesto is smooth. Drain pasta and add onion pesto; top with additional Grana Padano Cheese if desired.
