Spinach and Feta Bloomin’ Bread

An out of this world bread, perfect for game night, or for any night that you want to indulge in cheesy Feta goodness.

Ingredients:

1 loaf round sourdough bread or pumpernickel bread, unsliced 1/2 cup | 125 mL butter 4 cloves garlic, peeled and minced 2 cups | 500 mL fresh baby spinach, chopped, washed, rinsed and packed well into measuring cup 3/4 cup | 175 mL Tre Stelle® Feta Cheese, crumbled

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350º F (175ºC). Cut the bread lengthwise and widthwise into squares without cutting through the bottom crust. Place on a foil-lined baking sheet. Melt the butter in a medium skillet; add the garlic and simmer slowly without burning. Add the spinach and mix well; cook until the spinach wilts. Carefully spoon the spinach mixture into the cuts of the bread. Top with the Feta Cheese; pour remaining butter over bread. Wrap foil around bread to cover tightly. Bake covered for 20 minutes and uncovered for a final two minutes. Serve immediately.
